In partnership with Fundacion Galo Plaza Lasso

In January 2013, CPC partnered with Fundacion Galo Plaza Lasso (FGPL) in Zuleta, Ecuador. The course was two weeks and required a translator. The cameras and equipment were all taken to Ecuador and left with FGPL for future use. Jack and Barb returned to Zuleta in January and October 2014, January 2016, and January 2019.

In 2016, Katie and Michael Patton traveled with the Clarkes and taught art classes to some of the students.

Each visit has been different with some mini workshops and some full two-week courses. Some of the children in the first group have returned to subsequent classes to hone their skills and help the new students learn. The cameras continue to be utilized by FGPL for summer workshops as well.
